What will we cover during the 2-hour workshop?

    Menopause Yoga

    Each yoga posture, breathing exercise, and meditation technique was specifically tailored to address the different phases of the Menopause (pre, peri, and post menopause.)

    They are designed to alleviate common symptoms such as hot flashes, fatigue, anxiety, and joint stiffness, while promoting overall well-being.

    Menopause Nutrition

    Learn what kind of nutrient-rich diet is essential for women as they move through the Menopause.

    For example, what foods help to maintain bone health? Do foods high in phytoestrogens, like soy products, and flaxseeds help with hot flashes and night sweats?

  • Remedies for Menopause Symptoms

    Get an overview of the medicinal approaches along with common herbal remedies so you can see the breadth of possible solutions out there and start to explore what might work for you.

    Make sure to work with a professional herbalist or doctor to ensure proper care and attention when taking medicines and herbs.

    Up till now, most women kept their menopause experiences a secret. In the workshop, you can engage in group discussions, guided reflections, and mindfulness exercises.

    Hearing other’s stories as well speaking out loud, and sharing yours is grounding, insightful, and healing.

I provide women with practical tools and simple techniques to navigate the Menopause with grace and ease.

My approach combines the wisdom of yoga, healthy food, and lifestyle to create evidence-based strategies that support the body during the change.

This is for every woman.

Whether you are new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, this workshop welcomes women of all levels, all shapes, and all sizes.

It is a non-judgmental and inclusive space that honors and celebrates the unique journey each woman embarks upon during menopause.

Why is Vanessa’s teaching about the Menopause?

I studied Menopause Yoga (MY) with Petra Coveney, as I was suffering with my own cocktail of confusing symptoms that mimicked burnout and chronic fatigue. These yoga poses, breathing techniques and mindful meditation practices were specifically adapted to help us women positively manage menopause and are helping me to not only cope with the change, but give me a path to follow that is positive and nourishing.

I am also a certified Health Coach, allowing me to be a guide on your journey towards your version of wellness through healthy habits, nourishing food and lifestyle considerations.

As I go through this change myself, I am leading group classes, workshops, retreats, and webinars to educate and empower women on their journey.

Menopause is an opportunity to take a pause.

It is a time nourish and nurture yourself.

Every woman is unique.
