Hello, my name is Vanessa.
Health Coach & Yoga Teacher
I provide women with practical tools and simple techniques to navigate the perimenopause and the Menopause with grace and ease.
My approach combines the wisdom of yoga, good food and mindfulness to support you right now.

I studied Menopause Yoga and Nutrition as I was suffering with my own cocktail of confusing symptoms that mimicked burnout and chronic fatigue. Did I mention my burning vagina? And that no doctor would give me HRT because I was still having my period?
These menopause yoga poses, breathing techniques and mindful meditation practices were specifically adapted to help us women positively manage menopause. The yoga helps me to not only cope with the change, but give me a path to follow that is positive and nourishing.
Fast forward two years, and 3 gynecologists later, I am feeling well, have a happier vagina, and am sleeping much better.

Menopause Yoga
Learn and practice yoga postures, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques specifically tailored to address the different phases of the Menopause (pre, peri, and post menopause.)
The yoga practices are designed to alleviate common symptoms such as hot flashes, fatigue, anxiety, and joint stiffness, while promoting overall well-being.
-

Menopause Nutrition
Prioritizing a nutrient-rich diet is essential for women as they move through Perimenopause to Menopause. Eating enough protein creates satiety and helps with weight loss. Foods high in phytoestrogens may help with hot flashes and night sweats. Heart-healthy fats, like avocados, nuts, and olive oil help support hormone products.

Remedies for Menopause Symptoms
There are so many different remedies for the menopause including medicine, hormone replacement therapy, hormone creams, along with natural remedies from plants.
When you start to research you will see the breadth of possible solutions out there might want to explore what could work for you. During my courses, I share the most common so that you can best prepare to work with a professional herbalist or doctor to ensure proper care and attention when taking medicines and herbs.

Mental & Emotional Health
Up till now, most women kept their menopause experiences a secret. Some have gone through hell. Some women did not even notice they went through a change, because they were on birth control.
In my program you can engage in group discussions, guided reflections, and mindfulness exercises to explore how this time of your life is impacting you beyond the physical symptoms.
Speaking out loud and sharing is grounding, insightful, and healing.
